Governor Alexander Khinshtein provided updates,noting the UAV interceptions occurred over a 24-hour stretch starting June 1. Nine of those drones targeted Russian positions.

Civilians are bearing the brunt of these military actions. A 59-year-old man in Giryi district got hurt in a mine blast,suffering a head injury, concussion,and several shrapnel wounds. Khinshtein also reported damage to homes,including one in Terekhovka that lost its roof and another in Mikhailovka that had structural problems .

Durovo saw more damage,with a garden structure and fencing hit hard. In Shchetinka, fighting caused a broken window. Civilian areas are caught in the crossfire .
