Permitted items? Transparent water bottles,admit cards in clear plastic pouches to keep dry. Faith-based symbols like turbans or hijabs allowed, but get there early for security checks. Light clothing advised, though full-sleeve or woollens okay if you come early for frisking.

Arrive at exam centers between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Entry closes at 1:30 p.m. sharp. Latecomers? No entry. Disabled candidates with extra time finish by 6:20 p.m.

NTA suggests traditional or religious attire wearers come early for security. This year’s exam longer by 15 minutes, giving 195 minutes total. More rough work pages too,now four instead of two, at start and end of paper.

To help candidates,some state governments offer free bus travel for those with admit cards. Eases transport headaches for NEET takers.
