Food safety checks by Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) on June 20 exposed serious hygiene lapses at two popular Hyderabad eateries: Sattibabu Biryani and 7 Sisters.
At Sattibabu Biryani in Kondapur,inspectors found flies buzzing around uncovered food. Immediate contamination concerns . Also,ghee lacked proper labels,critical for meeting food safety rules. Officials ordered all food items covered and required restaurant to get properly labeled products.
Meanwhile,7 Sisters in Hitex faced a slew of violations. Prepared food wasn't discarded within use-by period,and meat products lacked proper labeling. Inspectors saw food stored uncovered near drains,posing big health risk . Kitchen conditions slammed for broken tiles and slippery floors . Unsafe. No hot water for sanitation practices either,raising alarms about hygiene. In storeroom,lizard droppings showed cleaning neglect,adding to food safety woes .
Both places told to fix these violations fast to meet food safety norms and protect public health…
