India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heatwave alert for five districts in Telangana while predicting heavy rainfall in nine others on June 22,2026 . Areas bracing for heatwave include Adilabad,Kumaram Bheem Asifabad,Mancherial,Karimnagar,and Peddapalli.

But heavy rainfall expected in isolated places across Mancherial,Nirmal,Nizamabad,Jagtial,Rajanna Sircilla,Mahabubabad,Mahabubnagar,Nagarkurnool,and Jogulamba Gadwal. Thunderstorms,lightning and gusty winds will impact all 33 districts in state.

Hyderabad and nearby regions will have generally cloudy sky next 24 hours. IMD bulletin says light to moderate rain or thundershowers likely,with gusty winds expected in city. Temperatures to hit maximum of around 33°C and minimum of about 24°C .
