British court sentenced two men Friday for plotting to torch properties linked to Prime Minister Keir Starmer. 22-year-old Ukrainian Roman Lavrynovych and 27-year-old Romanian Stanislav Carpiuc found guilty of conspiracy to damage property by fire . Lavrynovych got seven years,Carpiuc two.
Arson attacks spanned three nights in May 2025. A car and two properties tied to Starmer targeted. Prosecutors say plot was masterminded by unknown Russian-speaking figure called “El Money.” Lavrynovych communicated with this shadowy character. Court noted El Money's identity still a mystery,no charges against them yet .
Proceedings revealed Carpiuc acted as middleman,arranging payments,recruiting someone to film fires. But payment never came through.
