Saturday saw Ministry of Labour and Employment host event in Chennai,distributing job letters under Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (PM-VBRY). Held at Indian Bank Management Academy for Growth and Excellence (IMAGE),it drew 750 people—450 beneficiaries,122 employers,and industry reps.

Officials like K . Niraimathi,Joint Director of Directorate of Safety and Health, and Ramesh Kumar, Deputy Labour Commissioner,were present. Also there: Srinu Dara, Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner (Central),and Renu Ramachandran,Regional Provident Fund Commissioner,plus others from Chennai South Regional Office of EPFO.

IMAGE saw 60 job letters handed out . Over at Central Institute of Classical Tamil (CICT),Bhuvaneshwari, Registrar of CICT,and Sasikumar,Joint Director of Industrial Safety and Health, attended as chief guests. 96 beneficiaries and 14 employers participated,with 10 more job letters given.
