An upcoming event in Visakhapatnam will provide art enthusiasts a unique opportunity to engage with the renowned artist Bhaskara Rao Botcha. Scheduled for June 20, the event is organized by the FICCI FLO Vijayawada Chapter and will take place at the Waltair Club’s Oyster Hall,where attendees can immerse themselves in the world of visual arts.
The event will begin with a workshop designed specifically for FLO members . This session will allow Botcha to discuss various aspects of his work,including his artistic evolution and themes that inspire his captivating landscapes and tree motifs, which represent nature,memory,and cultural heritage.
In addition to workshop,a public auction will follow,offering attendees chance to bid on original pieces by Botcha. This auction will showcase carefully selected array of his artworks, which have gained international recognition in countries such as Taiwan,Dubai, Singapore,Germany,the Netherlands, and Russia.
Supriya Mallineni, chairperson of the organization,along with senior vice-chairperson Hema Yadavalli, emphasized that this initiative highlights the organization's dedication to nurturing creativity and education among its members, while also fostering a connection between the community and distinguished artists.
With a career spanning over twenty years, Botcha has conducted numerous solo exhibitions and has taken part in various international art events and residencies . His artwork is notable for its vibrant hues, intricate textures,and meaningful motifs that express his deep relationship with nature and personal reflections. His paintings are part of private collections across India and internationally.
The workshop and auction will commence at 6:30 PM,offering a distinctive setting for art lovers to appreciate and engage with contemporary artistic expressions.
