Hyderabad Traffic Police ran another one-way trial near KBR Park on Sunday, trying to ease congestion tied to ongoing H-CITI project. Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar led inspection of traffic flow at key junctions around park, where major infrastructure works, like steel flyovers and underpasses, are underway .
Sajjanar,with senior officials like Joint Commissioner D. Joel Davis and DCP Kajal,checked traffic along route from KBR Park main gate to Basavatarakam Hospital,Agrasen Junction,Film Nagar, Road No. 45, and Jubilee Hills Check Post. Purpose: see if new traffic system could ease congestion in one of city’s busiest spots,expected to get busier in coming years.
During trial,directional boards helped guide motorists through changed routes. Sajjanar said trial part of effort to find lasting fixes for traffic jams near KBR Park . He noted lessons from first trial on April 5 fed into this operation.
Normal traffic back Monday, as one-way setup was just for data. Authorities now analyzing driver challenges and spotting congestion areas despite new layout. Sajjanar pointed out one big issue: drivers making sudden lane changes, which hurt trial's success. He urged commuters to follow signs and police instructions.

To improve flow,plans include a 150-meter interchange zone between Jubilee Hills Check Post and KBR Park for safer merging. Officials also mulling pedestrian signals at KBR Park and Jubilee Hills Check Post for better safety.
